Requiem

I am a college student working on a project for the history of words. I wanted to do my project on the history of the word requiem. I was wondering what made 343 choose to use the term requiem to describe the planet as they did. If a 343 member could please get back to me as soon as possible, at gamingclanlegion@gmail.com I would highly appreciate it.

that sounds like a god awful paper to write (for me anyway)

good luck to you sir.

Requiem:

1.(esp. in the Roman Catholic Church) A Mass for the repose of the souls of the dead.

  1. A musical composition setting parts of such a Mass, or of a similar character.

Well if you really think about it, the ancient human intelligences that make up the Promethean Knights are “dead” in a sense. They have lost all physical form and are basically just consciousness now. The Composer was the tool that made them that way by turning them from flesh to digital lifeforms, so that is probably a play on the second definition.

Idk if it was a mistake, but you did it twice. World.

your writing a college history report about a fictional story of reqiuem on halo, okay prepare to fail

…Guys, I seriously, seriously doubt that he meant that he would be writing an essay on fictional worlds. I mean, a university assigning a student to write an essay on etymology is far more believable than assigning an essay on Halo.

I was under the impression from the terminals that those giant spires are where the Librarian indexed species.

Make sure to explain to your teacher what halo is first lol

Guys, he’s studying words, not worlds
