Requiem: The Best Halo Location to Date

A planet enclosed in a Dyson Sphere with massive Forerunner structures hanging from the heavens with the ability to keep anything inside safe from a Halo activation’s effects. This has Wonder and Awe written all over it. And to be honest, I don’t know why most of you love to hate on this game already. The setting of the game alone should get any Halo fan more excited than you ever have for a Halo game. 343 is crafting an entire new world and new experiences just for you guys. They’re introducing us to a new enemy with far more power than the covenant and they’re bringing the fiction from the books and plugging it into the game’s campaign for us… How could you people complain?

I thought “Halo” was the best Halo location. Nah I like requiem too.

Of course it is. But we need something new. And Requiem interests me much more than Halo does IMO.

Idk, the first Halo had a ton of wonder and awe (I love that campaign). But anyway, it’s not the campaign people are arguing and complaining about. It’s multiplayer. I’m sure the campaign will be sweet.

I thought the halo installations were interesting IMO and would love to see them sometime in the new trilogy

changing the game name from halo to requiem? lol!

but does anyone think we will see any of the other installations, because since halo 4 was announced there hasnt been much talk about them.

I can’t wait to explore this world and discover what secrets it holds.

Halo’s are more interesting, IMO, but we’ve been on Halo’s 3 times and now we have a new fantastical, mystical structure to explore. So I’m with you.

MY BODY IS READY

Exactly… On the forums people through fits over the new multiplayer information. But when it comes to campaign, people just come together and discuss and speculate.

After reading Cryptium and Primordium i am really excited for Requiem but i wonder who are the dead being celebrated?

Requiem sounds great. Halos aren’t anything new. In fact, I read a story by Larry Niven decades ago called “Ring World” that was about a Halo-like world. So it wasn’t even new when HCE came out.

Just thinking out loud for a minute. When does the title for Halo change? What I mean is we’ve had three games not take place on a Halo ring. Halo 3 ODST, Halo Wars, Halo Reach. Now if Halo 4 does not actually take place on a Halo ring as well, well??? Should Halo 4 be called “Halo 4: Requiem”?

Of course we all would likely agree that the word “Halo” must appear in the title for it to be a game in the franchise. But I do find it odd that 3 and now possibly 4 games won’t take place on one.

Yeah, it is odd. The Halo Array will have to factor into the story eventually, and I feel like it will. We’ve only seen Installations 00, 04, and 05 out of 7.

The little bit I have seen of this world has impressed me. It just looks so beautiful and the mystery is getting me so fired up!

There are two rings in Reach (or maybe both are on the same ring). Do Forgeworld and Tempest count?

From the Concept Art it looks beautiful, and to think what species made it is the enemy that we will face off against

Its awesome!!!

I agree OP about the part of being excited, though that is kind of obvious
