Requiem on legendary is BULL****

Seriously, 343? you put fuel rod grunts in a TIGHT CORRIDOR? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? And, “OH, lets make a driving section, and fill it with jackal snipers and fuel rod grunts galore and hope for the best”. HOW DID THEY NOT SEE HOW HARD THAT IS?

I believe I drove past most of it…Then just had to fight off the elite and some of the others; Wasn’t too bad but trying to kill everything is a bit of a pain.

I easily beat this on legendary solo, just need to know when to hide. and the needler is your friend.

It’s Legendary not pansy mode.
Although I do find a problem with games these days that think that just the enemy taking more hits is harder.

wait till u hit the last part of the game lol

Stop being a recruit and man up spartan, its called legendary for legends only…legends are not phased by enemies or ‘hard’ situations…so to earn the title of legend you must do it regardless of enemy resistence…the enemies should struggle to defeat you, not the other way around!!! now get back out there and smash those fricken achievements damn it!!

look up the speed run for it on youtube, pretty easy to skip most enemies.

Legendary is supposed to be challenging.

Its not that hard, just headshot everything on foot or take them out with your warthog or ghost from a distance.

> wait till u hit the last part of the game lol

Nah, the last part isn’t the hardest part.

Hear Hear!

I had looked up Nak3d Eli’s walkthrough, did the same thing, immediately got stuck by grenade, EMP’d, fuel rodded to death.

Wait for it, Wait for it, Wait for it…

U mad, bro?

It’s possible, which level (in order by number) is Requiem again?

OP, you shouldn’t be fighting anything with the Warthog. Jump off before you get to the enemies and pick them off with Carbine and plasma pistol.

When you get overrun, retreat far back and push forward again.

Use the active camo everytime you’re approaching enemies. When you’re in the last push up the tower, there are SAWs and Rocket launchers to the left and right of that area (with the two ghosts).

I could talk about how Legendary isn’t so hard that it requires raging. I could mention that there are friends of mine who complete the game on Mythic without such raging. But I won’t.

Seriously though, Legendary is not meant to be fair, or logical, or nice, or easy, or anything else you’d like it to be. Beating it is a badge of honor and skill. Master Chief wouldn’t call up the Covenant commanders and say “hey guys, this whole fuel rod in a corridor thing isn’t really fair…” It’s tough, but it’s doable. Buck up, soldier. Put on your man pants and work at it.

EDIT: Lady pants work too. I’m sure there are lady gamers that could kick my -Yoink- up one side and down the other.

really? i freaked out and drove around them and hit a wall. turned around and they were walking back to their spots like “you know what, we’ll just go back and wait for another one.” just drive around them

I’d never be disappointed if Legendary was too hard, only if it was too easy. I found the difficulty just about right. There were a few points were I just thought, ‘well now I’m -Yoinked!-’ But being stuck and then FINALLY getting past it, is what makes it all the sweeter.

You can do it!

Beat the entire campaign solo legendary in 6 hrs after MP pissed me off with AA Camo kids. It’s not that hard, unless you’re stuck with like 2 shells of a shotgun left and you have to kill 3 knights.

This. Really wasn’t too hard, each time I died I learnt my mistake. :stuck_out_tongue:
