I noticed in Infinite there are two zoom modes toggle and hold (default). However the zoom behavior present in the original games and Halo MCC is a hybrid by default you can toggle by pressing zoom once or hold zoom and let go to release it back. Minor nit that I’ve adopted into my playstyle over the years.
I really want this back, especially because we can scope in almost every weapon now. I think hold to aim is much nicer with most weapons, but I much prefer toggle zoom with the sniper (partly because I can’t find a keybind for the zoom levels that feels nice).

Honestly completely forgot that was a feature. I agree that would be nice to have. Make it a 3rd option to choose from in settings.
