Request Side / Team switch

Just a neat idea I have always though for Halo MP.
Being able to request the other team to switch sides.
Scenario 1: Lets say it’s 4v4 and Team A have 4 excellent players, and Team B Has 1 decent player. Team A could request a team switch, and one of the players on Team B could, accept the swap.

Scenario 2: 4v4 again, 2 players leave Team B, Team A could hand over a random player to even it out

This could come with so many issues as well, I have just always hate when a match ends up 1v4. Its super lame

Would be neat to have a conversation about it and hear what you diehards think, HA!

Your heart is in the right place with this however this would never happen in the middle of the match. I wouldn’t like this because I would rather just finish the match and Halo is to fast to deal with in-game menus.

Fair enough, yeah I figured, but I just wish there was a way to combat the imbalance. I feel they need to work on their hidden ELO system. Doesn’t seem very good

I think in a ideal world this would work but sadly this would rarely actually play out as suggested.

Whilst there isn’t a team switch mode available, MCC does offer you the ability to leave without penalty if half of your team has quit already. You don’t have to sit and suffer in a greatly imbalanced match.

They should adjust the system so you can leave without penalty if even one of your teammates drop out, not just half. I don’t care what anyone says, 4v3 / 8/7 is still unbalanced and there’s no reason I should be penalized if I leave that match. Mic drop

Whilst I see your point it is still possible for a team to do well enough without 1 player. It’s definitely tougher but not impossible.
I think the idea of 2 players leaving being the threshold is that so not everyone is just going to leave a match as soon as one person drops out because they didn’t get their favourite map.

End of the day you’re encouraged to stay in matches and play them out to the end. People who leave early need to be penalised for sacrificing their teammates play experience.

I didn’t even know that LOL. I am always like “Challenge Accepted”.

There are going to be bots now if someone leaves so there shouldn’t be much of a reason to quit.
