Please generate a playlist for free for all that will have the settings found in SWAT. I do not recall a Halo game that has ever had a playlist for FFA that was purely hardcore rules. Granted, this playlist can easily be enabled in custom game modes but it would be great to have it available to all on dedicated servers.
This does not have to become a lifetime game mode, but I would like it too! But please consider it and make it be a weekend playlist that everyone can try out.

I think he is reffering to the hardcore playlist in Call of Duty, as that is where the health of the player is substantualy decreased i.e. SWAT in this case.

I remember that, everyone quit because it took so long

I know, dear god I know lol. To be honest, Halo is not that different to CoD and vice versa. I have played every call of duty from 2007-2016, and every Halo from 2001-2016, so In no way is my decision is biased.

I also play COD from time to time and I’d argue that it’s way different! Flow and pacing, TTK’s obviously… mechanics…
And when it comes to “hardcore” play, sure, even faster kill times may be required in a game like COD where they are already very low… but in a game like Halo where skill is measured through the fundamental methods of breaking down shields and a steady, consistent shot… higher TTK’s… it’s important to still facilitate that kind of gameplay. You need to promote, even further, the more skill-oriented weapons and mechanics within the game…
You have to cut the “cheese” (hehe) out of the game… remove radar, support only the most competitive maps and gametypes, and a less noob friendly weapon set on map. Mauler in H3 was a great choice for MLG gametypes… strong but not too strong/easily abused… Primarily precision weapons, a shotgun/Scattershot or Rockets are fine to aid in the map control element, but Sniper is the main attraction for competitive play. I look forward to seeing the “pro-pipe” in competition, in the future as well… But homing weapons and the overuse of CQB/Auto’s need to be kept to a bare minimum or eliminated entirely…
Maps need to be fairly open to incentivize communication and teamwork… idk, there’s just way more to get right in high-level, competitive Halo… HARDCORE Halo. SWAT/low health gametypes are definitely not the way to go in this style of game. Player skill and knowledge of the game needs to be the primary focus in designing a more “hardcore” experience.

I agree, and this is why I think Halo takes more ‘skill’
Since when did people assume th adding the term “Hardcore” meant a more skillful game? If anything, the game becomes easier and a FFA swat would be a giant campfest cause no radar. And it would using come down to who shoots first only to kill or be killed by a respawned enemy.

Exactly, and they took so long because nobody wanted to move around on top of that
