Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I wanted to mention something that would make the game much more bearable to me personal. I’d like a way to not view my characters dead body. I understand why a lot of people want to. And normally it is helpful, however, the teabagging that happens more frequently than I would like, is triggering for me. Not to go into too much detail, but I’ve had experience with some very bad interactions in life that I don’t want to be reminded of. I know I can’t ask everyone to stop, that be asking too much, but if I didn’t have to see it, then the game would be much more easy for me to enjoy. Anyways, thank you all for reading this, and I wish you all well.
Also, thanks for the great game 343. I know I’ve made some complaints, but at its core I feel this is a good game. Nice work.

Look, I’m not asking you change your behavior. I’m asking for there to be an option so I don’t have to see it. Like maybe the screen going black until the player respawns. Just an option that people would have to enable.
You could be more kind if you want to talk about it.
After you die, if you hit LB/RB on controller or left/right click on mouse, it’ll switch so you’re watching one of your teammates instead of your body and you can avoid watching it that way.

But you are talking about it. And why don’t I belong in the community? Because a specific action triggers PTSD? You aren’t being very polite, and I’m not going to keep replying if you can’t be respectful.
That is a nice suggestion, and I try and do it when I can. But sometimes I forget. It’d be nice if there were an automatic optional mechanic for it, like maybe fade to black.

Since there’s already functionality for it in the game, a setting like automatically switching to a teammate’s view might be easier than a fade to black or something?
And don’t worry about the trolls. Everyone belongs in the Halo community.

That would be fine by me
And thank you. You’re very kind.

Simple mechanic suggestion that doesn’t affect anyone else in any capacity.
Takes a real type of genius to respond negatively about a request as simple as a “tab over to next player automatically” or function akin.

Yeah, it is a pretty simple idea. I hope it gets implemented. It’d make the game a lot more enjoyable for me.
Hope your okay dude.
Well i doubt they’d implement somethibg like that, but if you tap either of the shoulder buttons you will cycle througj teammates 3rd person pov. Hope this hekps keep your triggers at bay!

Don’t go describing yourself too hard now
I usually hit Rb as soon as I die, not because I care about teabagging (that’s a halo tradition), but I want to see what my team-mates are up to.

The definitive answer for this discussion.
While I can understand OP, the game has an Infinite (lol) number of problems that have to be addressed first before they can go tackle the lowly stuff.
As I said earlier in the thread, I don’t always remember to do that. And I never asked for this to be high priority. I agree, there are a lot more pressing issues.
I hate getting Tbagged and it’s usually by someone who rolls a 10/20 KD. I make a point to hunt them down and tbag the heck out of them. A lot of these cod kids on here just figured out you could do it.
I’m sorry for the trauma you’ve experienced and it would be nice to have that option, but I doubt it will be implemented. What you can do instead is immediately switch to the next player’s perspective (right and left mouse for M&K users, RB and LB for controller users).
