Request for 343 To Buff HaloReach Hologram Ability

Hello there 343, just making a post in hopes you see it to buff the Hologram ability when you bring Reach to MCC.
Can you please make it like the Hologram ability in Halo 4?
Where it shows up as a red dot on radar instead of grey, causes cross hair to highlight red; and maybe add a visible name plate so it can be far more convincing and BAMBOOOZLE! (yes ive been playing Apex Legends ;p) experienced players. As of now its the most useless class in high skill matches. Thank you for your time.
Love y’all.

PS. Making it T Bag like it does on Halo 4 would be an amazing bonus. XD

I don’t think anyone will be using armor abilities in high skill matches. I used hologram quite a bit in Reach and Halo 4. It was hands down the most under rated ability especially in H4. For Reach I think its fine, even if its a lot more forgiving.

Everyone uses armor abilities in Reach, in my time being an Inheritor, pros tend to use sprint and jetpack more than the rest. In Reach you can easily tell the difference between a Hologram and player; grey dot on radar (obvious hologram), cross hair doesnt turn red (obvious hologram), no nameplate over head (obvious hologram). If it cant fool an experienced player for atleast 1 shot of misdirection, its not fine. I love Reach and i love Holograms, its a pitty i cant have both and have my cake too.

For me the Halo Reach spartano abilities ruined the gameplay classic and competitive

As an inheritor as well, I can tell you pros don’t play with armor abilities. Hologram is fine, being chased? Turn a corner and send out a hologram. Trying to check a an empty room? Shoot a hologram. The armor ability isn’t a game changer, but in the heat of a moment it can throw off a player for valuable seconds.

It’s hard to tell if it’s a hologram if the thing happened around a doorway, it’s left of right and an error is death.

Don’t expect the hologram to fool a player for more than few seconds so what you can do with it is fairly limited but if it can lure a rocket it’s already doing an excellent job.

I used to use hologram a fair amount, and it’s only use is to get someone to look at it for a split second so you can get the first shot off on them. And I think that’s fine. Doesn’t need to be buffed imo. If you’re playing competitively at all you would def want sprint or jetpack.

I dont agree with adding the name tag part but the changing it from a grey to red dot would work for me. I wasnt even aware that it was a grey dot on the radar in Reach, I hardly ever saw hologram used in my time playing Reach.

No changes to any armor abilities please.

yeah at the very least they should do that, im always looking at the radar so anyone ducking around a corner to throw a holo im not fooled for a second. the other commenters in this thread keep saying it works when you throw it around a corner but not ONCE has ive been misdirected by a holo through that tactic due to the dot being grey.

The thing is that it doesnt work on me, im always paying attention to the radar so the grey dot is a dead give away; it needs to be buffed in a way that experienced players like me can get misdirected. Only rookies get fooled by it as of now

Grey dot… Ive chased Holo users before, i always watch the radar; that tactic doesnt work if you pay attention to red dot vs grey dot

My argument is that it should be buffed to be viable against experienced players, wether it tricks rookies is not my concern

Well, the dot is actually some kind of lighter shade of the current color (just like players on a different level) , there was a battle nearby and the dude was chasing me plus the map had multiple levels.
