Hi everyone, I like to forge and I have created some decent maps but always stop when it comes to placing the spawn points. This is mainly because I don’t understand how some of them work. If someone could explain the following I would appreciate it. Thanks.
How do neutral spawn points work? Can any player on any team spawn on them? Or are they only for free for all playlists?
Also does the game automatically try to spawn you away from enemies?

Neutral spawns allow any team to spawn there in team games.
The game does try to spawn you away from enemies, more close to your team if you’re playing a team game, and in FFA, it will try not to spawn you in a heated area.
Respawn Zones, depending on there team/gametype tags, will define if those spawns are used or not.
For example, you can set a respawn zone up, cover ten spawn points for blue team, and get the gametype tag to CTF_Away, and if the flag is away, those spawns will be the only ones used.
