There is a locked thread about it already, which I think was misunderstood. The forum team replied:
> Unfortunately we’re unable to expose match times due to privacy concerns.
… but I think the discussion shouldn’t end there, because we don’t have to expose match times (when a match happens) for that. It’s just about the timestamps within a match. So x game start time (doesn’t matter when it happens) and count from there. It doesn’t have anything to do with privacy.
It would be huge for stats if the API would support timestaps for kills/objectives in a game again like it previous Halo games. You could visualize the course of the game - not only see the final result. Please bring it back!
I would love to have this in. Rather than a Timestamp, a “Time since start” value or the like would be very valuable in determining a lot of trends. I vote yes please.
That’s what I meant. Much better word for it, thanks.
The most memorable / rewarding games are the ones where your team had a huge comeback and won in the last seconds or turned the game around. People would love to see that. And it brings a lot of depth into stats and the carnage report, because you can actually see what happened. 2 Flag caps in the last minute of the game? Down 10 kills most of the game, but then turned it around because you played really well together? It could be visualized with line graphs. The final scores don’t say that much about a game…
Yes! I would love a timestamp for when a certain medal was earned during a game. I think it would be cool to see what time someone got that overkill or that flag cap etc. Would be a cool stat to capture and very useful. For example Player McVeigh earned and Overkill medal 5:45 into game X.
EDIT: A timestamp in terms of how long into game X not what time a player was playing game X at.
Forum team already acknowledged my request which asks for both relative timestamps and positions for all impulses.

I wonder how long it will take them to implement this. Really want it asap but I know it will be a while
