Does it take forever for you to req up in the Darkstar Map? It seems to me that is the case.
In my experience I have not noticed a difference.
Well there’s a pretty obvious reason. Since there is no home-base clearing mechanic like other maps, you don’t get that instant boost to level 2. So if you always feel like you’re a level behind where you would be on other maps, that’s why. This isn’t necessarily bad, since everyone is going to be equally behind what level they would normally be at, but it can feel weird to be at mid-match and still not be at 4 or 5 yet.

I agree, it is slower, so you need to start tearing it up ASAP.

There’s a growing sentiment (myself included) that the BR is over-used in social playlists. Warzone and BTB. (BTB having AR/BR starts as you likely have experienced) Essentially, people are starting to notice that easy access to such a precision weapon in early-game strongly influences the use of vehicles. That’s why the warthog is so weak in H5 multiplayer. (whereas in campaign the vehicle missions are extremely fun, in my opinion) Anyone with a BR can just pop the gunner, and then it’s no more effective than a scout.

Noctus is far worse with the battle rifle/DMR spam from Monument.

Hahahaha. That is the case, but it is quite easy to sneak into the enemy’s armory and ground pound a sniper. I mean, you usually die doing that, but at least you get the sniper. I do like the fact that Warden Eternal appears in a place that tanks cannot really access. That just turns it into a blood bath.
