Hello fellow halo community! This is an official thread of requesting 343 Industries to implement REQ weapons and vehicles into custom games and the brand new forge mode. They recently announced via Q&A that REQ weapons and vehicles are not currently available in custom games or forge. With that being said, this is upsetting news as REQs can help prosper the halo community with some great ideas. Below are pros (benefits) of having REQs with these game modes.
What REQs can do to the custom game/forge communities:
- Allow for greater weapon variety - New ideas and game types may emerge - Adds personal feeling to the maps - Allow for story development in custom games - Forge maps can be spiced up - Old halo gameplay can return such as classic Halo CE - Machinimas can make use of them - Arena maps can benefit from this - Expand Halo 5’s life - Can make up for the missing launch gamemodes - Community maps…Overall, we can only hope that this post catches your attention so THIS can be implemented ASAP with the forge mode launching in December.
