Reqs and paying money

We’ve all got that one piece of gear that we can’t live without. Since the mk V helmet is kind of off looking from every other Halo, that one piece of gear that I can’t live without is the mk IV.

So, I would gladly and shamelessly pay 3 bucks for just a helmet. I would spend that on a gold pack in a heartbeat if I knew I would get the helmet in there. So my point is, why can’t the armor and cosmetics be seperate from the actual reqs that are used in warzone?

Similarly, all I want to unlock is the Helljumper helmet and it will take me an eternity :[

Yeah it would be cool if you could buy stuff with REQ points at a premium (whether with real money or REQ points you earn in game). Something similar to Reach’s customization/unlock system would be neat. However, it would undermine the entire point of REQ packs and even so they would be extremely expensive in REQ points.
