Please no, we don’t need a convoluted sandbox…again.

I love the idea of modified standard weapons. An Assault Rifle with a long barrel and a scope, a BR with a long-range scope and a suppressor, etc.

Have a skull that lets us use the special weapons in campaign and a skull that allows the enemies to use the special weapons in campaign

The Answer with the Bandanna skull enabled

I hope the Bandanna skull is in Halo Infinite they have it in Halo CE and Halo 2 but never added it to Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5 I wish they would add it to those games

I think they’ll add it to the other games in MCC in the future. Seems like 343i still has so much planned for it.

I’d rather them just implement the more unique req weapon replace some of their normal brethren in a more balanced fashion so we can enjoy their unique mechanics all the time.

For example instead of having a normal Light Rifle, you might have a more balanced version of Dying Light replace the standard variant so we can enjoy it all the time rather than as just an easter egg in campaign. Basically my answer is “all of them” but only if they replace the normal sandbox.

Not a bad idea

Counter arguement. In Halo 2, there were scripted weapon drops from pelicans. What if we could call in weapon drops by finding a marker flare to toss out and the pelican drops weapons off for us.

That’s what I call an good argument.

I appreciate the support

I’m not against weapon variants and (campaign) weapon drops.

But I really, really do not want to see the pay to win lootbox REQs of Halo 5 anywhere in infinite, that’d be an instant deal breaker for me.

I like the idea of weapon drops but I still would like to use the special weapons more in campaign in Halo 5 you would find special weapons but they didn’t even last one encounter if they put special weapons in Halo Infinite they need to have plenty of ammo with them
