Are the Warzone modes the only modes we are able to use our Reqs in?
I know Fiesta Slayer allows Req like weapons to spawn, and that Firefight is coming back to Warzone at some point too. Am I missing a game mode though? All of these Reqs are just for the two modes of play currently?
Are they coming to Forge Maps or will they be added into Custom Lobbies?
Right now everything that uses REQ cards is found under the WarZone tab. So WarZone and WarZone Assault.

Not a waste if you’re having fun 
but I think OP meant weapons currently allocated to the REQ system to be placed on custom maps so they would spawn routinely without burning a REQ. So instead of having a Plasma Caster on Truth, put a White Scar up there. Something like that.

Copy that and thanks for the information. Was trying to verify that what I had learned was correct but its hard to browse reddit and internet articles and separate the rumors from what is actually in game and what is coming.
