Req System WITHOUT MICROTRANSACTIONS Idea

Let’s just get this out of the way first. I’m not a programmer or developer, and I have no idea how this would work in practice. This is just my idea that I came up with and I want feedback on it.

All basic reqs are unlocked with purchase of game (standard assault rifle, battle rifle, all standard power weapons, etc.)

Level System with each weapon. The levels do not make them stronger, but once a player unlocks a certain level, a new version of that weapon would unlock (Ex: Level 5 Boltshot unlocks Closed Fist). Every variant of the weapon gains exp for that weapon. Exp is gained through getting kills and medals with the weapon.

Weapons have a charge time that starts when you begin a match. The time is different depending on the tier of the weapon. The higher the tier, the longer the charge time. Once a weapon is charged, you can requisition it at a req station or after dying (loadout weapons are permanently available once charged). Every variant of the weapon is linked to one charge. After the basic weapon (Ex regular Boltshot) reaches full charge, the lowest tiered variant starts charging. After that finishes then the next lowest tiered variant charges, and so on until full charge on all weapons is reached. The charge does not start again until the death after you use the weapon to ensure balance and decrease spam. (Optional) Charge may also speed up with kills and medals with that weapon during the match, rewarding a higher skill with faster charge times.

Turbo Mode: Mode available on weekends. Weapons charge immediately and all are unlocked after clearing the base. Go nuts…

Note Part Two: Exp for weapons is only gained in Warzone. Also all of this describes warzone, not arena.
