REQ System or Purchase Specific Armor?

I like the idea of being able to buy specific armor for let’s say 15,000 req points.

Either way buying specific unlocks for more than random packs would be awesome.

Random unlocks will keep the portion of the population that wants a specific armor playing the game longer. Allowing the selection of REQs, even at a higher cost, would diminish the REQ system.

Exactly, I don’t like the req system. I don’t care if it gets diminished. They could even put SR requirements for the armor. That could keep people playing. The req packs could be purchased to refil your weapons and vehicles for warzone

RANDOM UNLOCKS FOR SURE! i love games that are grindy because i feel like i am getting my moneys worth to be completely honest! and this game does not do DUPS. so i much rather it take 60 packs to get the helm i want. you know why??? because that gives me 59 other ittems to mess about with!! if you did it like reach. people would just save up for that helmet and never 1 buy anything else. 2 play the game any longer because they feel acomplished! so yeah random unlocks

Look, the reality is that most people don’t have the time to save up 60 packs for the helmet they want. This grind is turning away many people from halo, same as it did destiny. Having a specific rank needed to buy something makes people keep coming back to hit that rank. Also, people won’t stop playing cause they add new stuff monthly.

REQ system. It just keeps the game running for me. Knowing that at any moment I can get a new cool armor that i haven’t even thought about.

i think as long as we can have the option to buy or earn … I am good with both …

I’d like both

well if it is turning them away, then that is how they feel? you can’t compare this system to destiny’s. because 1 that game makes you grind to be stronger so you need to set there for 5-6 hours a day. 2 don’t have the time? it only takes an hour and a half to save up for one silver pack(not to mention you can sell unwanted warzone stuff to speed that up. the average person plays for about that long before life hit’s them in the face every night (kids, wife etc etc) at that rate. that’s 2 months of playing and again the point i made was UNTILL YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS ALONG THE WAY. the reach system lacked this, because people would save up ungoldly CR (which some of that stuff took longer to get then 60 sliver packs would.) and that was all they had to show for it. you asked which do I personally prefer and i told you. and once they hit that rank and buy what they want? exactly they reached their goal where do they from there? i love being strung along AT MY OWN PACE.

21, he asked for our opinions, and then proceeded to try to belittle mine, like why would you ask?? if you are just going to sneak reason why it is bad? so yeah i am going to get defensive. i did not call him out of his name. i did not question how he felt or why he felt the way he did, i simply defended my opinion. is mine right? no. but is it wrong? also no. thats why it is an opinion. saying stuff like “look, in reality people don’t have the time” is unnecessary because i know people do not have the time? you asked for my opinion and i gave you it. simple as that. no need to question or make a remark as if it is not normal to enjoy what i enjoy because others don’t have the time

Well you’re the most illiterate 21 year old I’ve ever read

It needs to be where you unlock armor according to rank

i am for the req system, it makes me feel like i am getting my money out of the full game, because i am getting more content unlocked to play around with. i personally enjoy being strung alone as long as it is at my own pace. i am personally not a fan of how reach did it because at least once i saved up a crazy amout of money for that item i had nothing else to show for it. better?

I’d rather it be like Reach when you could see the armor available, do whatever pre-reqs required to unlock it, then purchase it with REQ points. It’s better than opening up a REQ pack and getting random trash you don’t like.

I favor REQ’s, at least this way I don’t get totally screwed over like I did in Reach (Played months of just campaign and forge to get MK V, then lost it when I got Xbox Live and entirely gave up on the game.) Buying armor is on my bad side now.
