The major complaints from the community I’ve seen is the REQs not working and/or appearing in Halo 5. Throughout these Complaints I’ve seen, there haven’t been a solution with their complaints. They complain all about this very issue and I never see them say ‘I tried to’ after their complaint. The complaints act as if that the system is broken and there is no possible solution to try. This issue does occur, it is a buggy system and it happens often.
But there is 2 ways to suppress the bug, not fix it but it’ll have to do in the meantime.(These ideas are not guaranteed but its the closest to a solution)
- If you start to encounter the ‘retrieving data’ on Warzone, finish the match or leave, press the home button, press pause and select Quit. Once you go back in, open Warzone from the menu and wait. To confirm that the system is on and working, go to the Store from Requisition and if you can see your REQ points then you can play Warzone without any issue. - The system relys on always updating the game. so be aware of leaving the game without taking the disc out because the Xbox One always leaves the game running even if your on other social apps or just Turing off the console. The system won’t let you even get into Arena or Warzone without having loading issues or matchmaking problems because the system will stop updating. So if you are not playing Halo 5, take the disc out or quit the game app.This is all I know. If you got some constructive input, go ahead. Any help is good for this community.
