The req system is by far the worst monstrosity that has been added to the halo game. Ever since I have been playing halo 5 I have bought at least 10 golden packs, each yielding nothing good at all. To be honest, you should at least get tons of weapon certifications, RATHER THAN 10 OF THE F******** SAME REQ CARDS FOR A GUN THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE DOZENS OF REQ PACKS FOR. And all of you dumby’s who defend the req system, screw you, how could u defend such a broken system, that revolves around players playing, HOURS AND HOURS, of halo 5 to get stuff, its basically like destiny, but with funner gameplay. In fact this game is SSSSOOO similar to destiny’s loot system, in that the FREAKIN REQ CARDS ARE THE SAME EXACT FREAKIN COLORS AS DIFFERENT ARMOR TYPE VARIENTS IN DESTINY. 343 if you are honestly that dumb, to base your card colors as that in destiny, than you should just kill yourselves. And I bet that just like destiny, the loot system in halo 5 will take forever to fix, just like it took forever to fix it just like in destiny. For all of you who worship the req system, and think that it is essential to halo 5, you should just kill yourselves right now, cause, you all don’t understand how damaging this is to a games reputation.

Lots of games before destiny have used the exact same colours for their items. Eg Warcraft - it uses green for uncommon, blue for rare, purple for epic and gold for legendary - same as elder scrolls and many other games
True, it’s annoying to be standing on a pile of needlers and still see no sign of a banshee or wraith certification…
But on the bright side, you got the choice between paying or playing for grinding.
Not that bad if you ask me.
It is true that some of us are luckier than others, but that’s just the way it is.
On a side note, Bungie killed Destiny for me on the 09.15.15 with TTK and their Content Restrained After Purchase policy.
I have fun with Halo 5, and opening a pack is still nice, kind of lotery thrilling experience for now … until it wears off.
playing hours and hours to get stuff is like reach only that it wont take so long in halo 5 to unlock everything.

The req system in halo 5 is also designed to give you the better cards when you have unlocked most of the bad cards.
First, we’re three weeks into a game that’s supposed to last three years, so try to relax a little bit. Those certifications will come in time.
Second, stop spending actual money on reqs. Just. Don’t.
I like the REQ system in Warzone, but I think it should stay in Warzone. In other modes I think you should have to earn weapons and armor based on rank and skill.
I don’t want to be that guy, but
“funner” is not a word
sorry
Stop using your own money to buy gold packs and just buy bronze packs with the req points that you earn from playing. You’ll have heaps of weapon certifications and armour types in just a few days.
