I’ve recently got back into Halo 5 because of the Firefight update, and upon purchasing REQ packs with RP, I get an error message of “We could not open your pack at this time. Please find it in “Open Packs” and try again”, or something to that effect. I’ve spent a total of 16,250 RP today alone, only for the points to be taken and my REQ packs to not exist. I also unlocked the Lv5 reward for the Rocket Launcher commendation, and the same thing has happened with it. Kig Yar pirates, amirite? Joking aside, it seems I’m not the only one spending points on non-existent REQ packs, so if anyone from 343i could address this problem it would be greatly appreciated by many people. If any of them feel the same as I do and this issue isn’t resolved and compensated, I can imagine a lot of people will walk away from this. We play for the rewards, and when we simply don’t get them, what reason is there to come back? I trust this will be fixed as quickly as possible. Anyone with similar incidents, feel free to leave them down below, and keep track of the number of RP you’ve spent only to have your REQs open a slipspace rupture and jump… inside the city.
Hey OP, when this issue happen don’t worry you will still get the items from your packs. Everything is automatically dropped into your REQ inventory, you just skip seeing the opening animation from your pack. You can hard reset your console or check your inventory here on waypoint
I haven’t recieved anything from the packs though, no armour, loadout variants, certifications, nothing, even though I’m “guaranteed 2 permanent unlocks”
