Req store is a pay-to-win random mess.

And if someone rolls out with an hog with that explosive chain gun pop the gunner 4 times in the head he is dead. Not forgetting for every win I get around 4-5k req points and around 3.5k for losing so it is not hard nor takes along time to get gold packs

Most of the time I may only use a gray boost IF I have one. I mainly just sell all my boosts.

Its more pay to not grind than it is pay to win.

I would agree to this, the people who are getting things when paying is just luck, or more like it, narrowing the prize pool. the system doesn’t give repeats of permanents so they are bound to get it sooner or later.

unless it truly give people an advantage, it is not pay to win, Halo 5 does not do hurt non payers.

> Vehicles with heavy weapons in team games are an integral part of the Halo multiplayer experience. Having to pay real money, or an hour or two’s worth or req points, on req packs that may not even contain the vehicles that fans know and love, makes piloting one a rare luxury, and severely limits the game’s potential fun factor.

> The main problem is how random it is. It’s not that I can’t afford 3.00 for a gold pack, a big part of the problem is that I don’t know what the heck I’m getting! Even if I could afford to spend infinite amounts of money on req packs, I would be too insulted that you are asking me to pay for something and not telling me what it is. It’s an idiotic business model. If you are going to ask us to pay money, or spend hours earning req points, at least let us have some say in what we’re getting.
>
> The other problem is that it’s pay to win. I didn’t mind Paying 5.00 for permanent weapons and upgrades because it saved me time and frustration playing against players who may already have them while I try to earn the credits to afford them. It didn’t feel like cheating because everyone who doesn’t pay money could earn them permanently by playing the game, and eventually catch up. It also put me on a level playing field with the people who had been playing since long before me. Since req cards you earn in Halo 5 are only temporary, there’s no “catching up.” People who spend money on the game are always going to have a leg-up on the people who have to play for hours to get the same stuff.

> Get rid of the randomness. Let us choose what we buy, or at the very least, narrow down the randomness with different categories (gold/silver vehicle req pacs, gold/silver weapon req packs, power up req packs). And don’t make them cost so many damn req points that we barely get to use them without paying real money.

> The current req store and req packs don’t tempt me to give 343 more money, they tempt me to put this game down and go back to Halo:Reach.

I only disagree with the part where you say that req packs are a pay to win. Sure the mechanic need to be another but is not a p2w friend, you can easely kill a vehicle with a power weapon.

Lol mission victory is the best story I have. Opened a bunch of gold packs after selling all my reqs but for 1 of each card and ended up getting 3 ultra rare mission victory cards. So I pop one and get a Jip game with 230-870ish. Said you know what can’take happen again and for the last 2 victory cards I have all Jip games. So I only use request boosts and sell the rest

there are certainly elements where a victory is more likely because of the availability of reqs, but yes, these microtransactions for in-game benefits are an application of mobile business models into our consoles. its a bypassing of the grind.

I dont thing its wrong, but it doesn’t fill me with hope. I dont want to see all my games coming with limiters that can be passed if I pay more. what happens when this limiter ruins the fun? I dont want to feel pressured to pay more for a game I’ve already sunk 60$ into in order to continue to enjoy it.
