Every time I boot up Halo 5 for the first time, I immediately check to see if the REQ Service is available. No matter what, it is always unavailable on the first go and it requires me to quit the game/restart the game and sometimes even do a console reset. I do not have the console instant on setting enabled. Does anyone else face this? It’s not a huge deal, but still a minor inconvenience each time I boot up the game.
I have heard others with this problem, I don’t have a problem but if I was to guess just playing a custom game would help with loading it
I have this issue, it is annoying. If i get no error messages, waiting a couple of minutes will usually have the req’s load. I do not have instant on enabled either.

I was hoping you would say yes. 
Thinking that would be the magic bullet.
I have this problem every once and a while not 100% sure what causes it.
Same here. It also takes a holiday after playing any number of matches.
So many months after release, it’s absurd that I need to load and restart the game multiples times to get the REQ system working.
It is pretty lame that after months of updates, the REQ system still sucks. I’ve played several games with only the pistol. But there have been some really great gamers that heard my cries for help and would get out a BR for me.
My REQ system does this every time I fire up as well. All I do is wait about 45 seconds to a minute and it fixes itself. Same thing if it happens after a match. Simply waiting will fix it (at least it fixes mine).
I have my Xbox with instant on and still this happens

its not u its the servers. I’m constantly reseting the game because sometimes it just won’t load the req system.

Me too. While I understand it would be bad to have REQ point totals use a trusted-client system, I don’t see why there’s no way for unlocked REQs to be stored locally somehow. I shouldn’t have to connect to a server to try a different helmet on my Spartan.
I have instant on and it has been doing this a lot less frequently recently, but whenever it does happen it only takes one restart to get them to boot up.
So no fix for this? Or the fact that i have gone multiple games without access to reqs? Especially in WZFF.
I usually dashboard out then restart. Seems to work for me.
This happens to me almost every weekend if I try to play early in the morning (7-8ish AM)
