Req questions for new player

Hey so I’m a newer halo player just had a few questions hoping yall can help me out. So I was told to purchase all bronze until I start receiving 100 req point items than go on to silver etc. Is this the best thing to do? Currently I’ve been dumping my points into silver. 2nd questions I don’t play war zone at all so I just sell all of them that’s all good right? Last question I want to buy the arena req pack but is it a bad idea because I’m to new and those premium packs will go to waste by unlocking things I could of unlocked in silver? Thanks for all the help guys!!!

So, the way I did it is like you described it: first I bought Bronze Packs, then switched to Silvers and recently went on to Gold. I think it went pretty well for me, I didn’t waste to many Points on Gold Packs that gave me, for example, Uncommon unlocks.

> 2nd questions I don’t play war zone at all so I just sell all of them that’s all good right?

That’s probably a good idea, when you only go for the cosmetic stuff you can use in Arena. Can’t tell from experience, though because I’m playing Warzone

I’m afraid I can#t help you with this one, I never bought any Bundles or even normal Packs with real Money and don’t know what exactly this Arena REQ Pack provides, sorry!

I hope I could help you a bit If you have any questions, feel free to ask

You’ve been told the proper way. As for the arena req pack, you can buy it but don’t open any until you finish silvers packs at least. If you wait you will only get ultra rare and legendary. Otherwise you will get mostly uncommon.

Your strategy for buying the packs is correct. You should at least win one warzone assault match every day to get the warzone daily win pack. There is a chance to get a permanent unlock from the daily win. In terms of the arena req bundle you are not ready to buy that yet. Once you finish silver packs, maybe. If you buy it now the odds of you getting mythic or legendary items are slim to none. Just IMO. If you want to burn $25 then you’re welcome.

There is a req tracker spreadsheet on the halo Reddit if you’re interested

Yup, always buy silvers until you get majority/if not all the uncommon/rare unlocks available. Once you do that, move on up to Gold, once you start opening up gold, you can start spoiling yourself with Legendary/mythic unlocks.

Your strategy is sound, bronze, silver then gold is the most efficient way. Selling all that crap is also good since you dont play war zone. Either hold off on buying or at least opening your arena req packs till gold to get the most bang for your buck. Its a long slog to gold however so you may want to pop one or two early.

I would by a few but silver packs should be the main focus. You will be at it for a while, but it will make the gold packs more worth while when it does happen. I have never recived 100 REQ points from a bronze. But TBH i don’t normaly grab bronze

I would save a few just in case you decide to later. A couple of times Assault can be very easy to get REQ. I would also play enough warzone to get your First win pack because you can get perm unlocks from those packs.

I would buy all silver packs before you do that. You can unlock uncommon and rare packs with them and it is kinda not worth if they do show up. having 1 or 2 of the 3 items you get out of every pack is just sad when you get later. Same would be my taste if you decided to get the Warzone pack as well.

Well I actually did it the wrong way, I got most of my uncommon a and commons in silver packs, if you went with bronze you would only have a chance. So one perma unlocks for 2500 req pts doesn’t sound bad, that’s two bronzes. So if you don’t get perma reqs in bronze or have terrible luck then try silver. Also play warzone assault it is the fastest way to get reqs pts

Yes, starting at bronze is good if you want to have guaranteed better reqs from gold in the future. But what I am doing is only buying silver, because after tens of thousands of reqs spent on bronze packs, many of the reqs where not permanent reqs. The silver packs guarantee permanent reqs every pack.

Thank you guys for all your knowledge I love halo.
