I currently have 380893 Req points and don’t really know what to do with them or indeed how they can help me at this point. I have been playing for about 18 months and am 147, I play slayer most. The thing I would like is the Achilles but I am not in a Spartan company, and don’t want to be. Is there any way I can obtain it other than this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

REQ points can only be used to unlock permanent items (armor, emblems, etc.) and gain more REQs for WZ game modes. If you care for neither, then REQ points are not really useful until the store gets the Arena XP boosts.
As for Achilles, you need to complete kill commendations as part of a Spartan company. There is no other way to get the armor and helmet.
