Does anyone know a fast way of getting REQ points? (With or without boost)
I do sound dumb but I would like to know if anyone has a better method of getting them.
I want more just in case a ‘timed’ req pack appears.
A timed req is almost certain to appear for the week of the HCS finals in Atlanta Nov 16-18.
You’ll need 80k per pack - and 3 packs to unlock everything they hold. So 240k.
It’s worth it if you don’t have those items, as they are not available any other way.
Check out this thread for details about the pack.
In term of how to get good RP, play WZ firefight.
On the weekends, play Mythic - it gives a ton of RP, even if you fail.
The time spent to RP ratio in WZFF is best, IMO.
The better your performance in each match, the more RP you’ll get.
Also, sell any req cards (single use) that you don’t think you’ll ever use.

Thanks man.
The best way to get req points, IMO of course, is grind heroic warzone firefight, good req payouts(especially with boost/jackpots). Not stressful and pretty fun game play as well. There maybe faster ways but to me if it’s not enjoyable it’s not worth it any other way.

If you’re somebody who actually plays Mythic Warzone Firefight with the goal of winning, it kind of ruins the experience to have teammates who only joined for the RP and don’t care if they win or lose. There are multiple reasons why I don’t play firefight on Mythic, but one of them is that when I did, I got lots of low-level teammates who just battle rifled everything and didn’t call in any vehicles, presumably because they only wanted RP and didn’t care if we lost. I can’t blame them for doing that, but I wouldn’t encourage them to. It’s not really fair to other players.

I certainly wasn’t advocating to just hop in and not try.
I feel your pain - I play to win too.
The RP gain is much more significant if you win, and as I mentioned - the better your performance, the more RP you’ll gain.
I was simply saying that people shouldn’t be afraid to try Mythic, just because they might lose - it still offers good RP.
But yes, please try hard when you are there - and if you have a ton of reqs, try spawning in an extra tank for your teammates!

Of course comrade.
Just play warzone firefight over and over again. I’d suggest doing the heroic one because its quick and easy to get through
To be honest play warzone
Heroic WZFF is probably the best way to go.

The OP said fast not effective. Just play swat with boosts, games usually last 5 minutes and if you win you get a decent amount of req points.

Well even if swat games are fast the search times can be longer. The most I have gotten in swat is about 700 rp or soo. Soo if you play 3 games in 15 mins that’s 2100 rp.
WZFF pays out around 2000RP in heroic and 3000RP in legendary if you win most games will be around 15 mins. Soo would still say WZFF is the best for getting rp

Agreed. It seems like the desire to earn REQ points as quickly as possible is almost no different than the desire players had to earn credits faster in Halo Reach. There’s no easy way to go about doing so. You just gotta strap yourself in and grind it out. Just remember that you need to enjoy the time you play the game. Don’t grind out a playlist you hate just to earn REQ points otherwise you’ll find yourself hating the game.

Hey, I’m just granting his request he said fastest and WZFF are some of the longest matches in Halo 5.
Fastest could be safely assumed to be ‘most efficient’.
So - the fastest way to get lots of RP.
If they total RP/time ratio is higher in WZFF than SWAT, well then we know the answer.
=)

I Did say fast but effective works to. I’ve gotten lots of req points with the effective methods. But I do play swat sometimes and I do get an amount similar to warzone with boost.
