I see the REQ packs are on sale for people willing to pay real money for them…why don’t they also decrease the amount of REQ points they cost as well?
I was saying this to a friend as well yesterday, because i have all the REQs obtainable through the packs, but it would be nice to reduce the price even just a little bit to allow me to stock up on my favourite items for WZ

I think micro transactions are fine as long as they are not over-board and they don’t punish you for not buying them

I don’t think that cuz I see 343 that incompetent to even do so, we do need more than speculation to prove that anyways. I also know that most paid dlc for most games suck, I don’t know why people even think that just cuz something is paid for means it has value to it or will be a more quality product.

Reach had great dlc as did halo 3 (for the most part) and some of my favorite maos were in halo 2s dlc.

And that’s where you’ll see I’m the opposite. I don’t call map packs as dlc, to me it should be a given as they’re the cheapest things to make and add no replay value to a game. I’ve never liked games doing map packs as dlc, I much prefer how bioware dies their games where everything multiplayer side is free and they make the money by adding onto the story of their games post launch. The other issue with map packs is you don’t get to play them if even just one guy in the lobby doesn’t have them, it’s why they had to do dlc only playlists to let you play those maps but even then they were generally the least populated playlist and just wasn’t worth it. I stppped buying map packs after h3 so I’ve no experience with reach or h4s dlc mapsbut I can say many didn’t like reach and some if 3 as they were bland forge maps with no aesthetics to them.
in short it’s fine if you want paid dlcis fine if it’s actually good content, Howe we I have a very demanding definition on what I consider actual dlc with value compared to most, but I will say that just cuz something is being paid for doesn’t mean it’s better in quality, matter if fact I actually prefer h5s setup over h3s paid dlc as again, to me maps should be an automatic free thing, they’re cheap and easy to make and more often than not won’t get played much anyways when paid for cuz it requires everyone to buy it. However, that doesn’t mean h5s free stuff is good, h5 annoys the duck out of me with delayed game modes and delayed content, it being free -Yoink- doesn’t make it better as it’s still -Yoink- in the end.

Same reasons they didn’t do that for the gift-able ones.
- They don’t want someone giving all of their excess packs to their buds. - They want your time if they can’t get your $ (as someone else said) - They can’t figure out how to do it

Also no they won’t lower the req points and nor should they as that kinda defeats the purpose of making them on sale to entice some to actually spend their money on them.

If this was truly they case, they’d have made Warzone Turbo permanent ages ago. REQs burn through so -yoinking- quickly in that you’re terribly tempted to spend money on the packs to refill the supply of hundreds of items you wasted over the weekend alone. 
Turbo really does need to come back though… Even as a weekend playlist at least. Closest thing we’ll get to a Warzone Fiesta mode.

Simply because they won’t make any money off it.
I only buy the req packs with req points. I never actually buy req packs with real money because I never have money in my black Xbox One.
