I open like 100 gold packs and get 2 phaetons…WTF. Anyone else having this problem?
Huh. I must be lucky then. Out of my past few packs, I got a few standard and Helios. Only have one right now because I really like using them.
I think req packs are intentionally supposed to do that. Same thing with Wasps
I think it’s to help “balance” what they can in WZ and WZA. Just imagine, mass wasps and phaetons. Man people would be raging so hard lol
I’m so scared of using my phaetons and wasps I only use them in Warzone Firefight where I know I can survive without getting splasered haha
i have like 10 or more phaetons but still no certefication for the helios
I wish i had your luck. I’m down to 5 commendations left to do and Phaeton kills is one of them.
I have far more Phaetons than Wasps at the moment. It is bugging the **** outta me.

Are they more common out of Gold packs or Silver
Or am I getting them mixed up with Wasps…
Yea they’re extremely rare on purpose, for the sake of “balance”. The same for Wasps, since there are already complaints about there being too many Wasps in WZ. Think about if they were replaced by Phateons. I find I have better luck getting one through a Random Vehicle card, and I have many more of those cards.

Once I finished the commendation they started rolling in. Started last week with 0 wasps; now have 17 regular, 3 oni, and 5 hannibal and used a couple of each.
Yeah I am level 90 something and I have only ever got 3 phaetons I think maybe 4

Don’t assume there is a connection, it was just the way my luck ran. Kind of like the game said, “Hey you don’t need this anymore, have em’all.”
The Helios variety of the phaetons are pretty rare for me but I get the occasional regular variant not too infrequently. I just use them up too quickly, I guess.

You got me excited for nothing lol. I really love how the wasp plays. But maybe you just had some Luck there. Only some Spartans have Luck…

i too am having this problem, its making the last level of the phaeton kill commendation very hard to get.

The req system is long over due for an over haul but we won’t get one. We need more available packs that are more specific. This RNG system that is this bloated is LAME! Give us a platinum pack that guarantees rare or higher or even ultra rare and higher. Give us vehicle packs that is only vehicles. I haven’t seen a Hannibal mantis or wasp in forever.
I think the plain Phaeton should be…
ULTRA RARE.
it’s isn’t such a game changer at its req level.
To make it this hard to get in packs.
