REQ packs for limited collector's edition question

Hi, I have purchased a limited collector’s edition as a present for our son for Christmas from Game in the UK. I believe it comes with an additu14 REQ packs which be released 2 at a time over next 7 weeks. If he doesn’t have the game until Christmas, will he still be able to get all the REQ packs that have already been released, or will he loose the opportunity to download these?
I have spoken to Microsoft Xbox support, but they are unable to answer this and pointed me to this forum to ask.

Hi, thanks. That bit I understood, but does the seven weeks of downloads start from the date the game was released, or from when you install the game. So if he doesn’t install the game until Christmas will he still be able to download all 14 REQ packs?

Hi, does anyone know the answer to this? Will the 7 weeks start when the game is first loaded and the code entered, so even if not loaded until Christmas he will get all 14 REQ packs, or does the 7 weeks start from the release date?

if it’s from the release date I will have to give him
his present early, if from when the code entered it wi stay until Christmas

343 posted a thread about this which is stickied at the top. In it they state “You will receive two REQ Packs every week that you log in for 7 weeks, totaling in 14 REQ Packs.” So it’s 7 weeks from when you use the code.
