Although reading through the new guide to the REQ system, I am still a bit unclear on some details. First, will legendary weapons such as the Bracer, Nornfang and Prophet’s Bane be single use cards? Or will they be persistent cards? Secondly, how are Gold, Silver and Bronze REQ packs earned, are they earned by playing through WarZone, or do they need to be bought? Lastly, how are the Premium, Supply and Promotional REQ packs earned?
Legendary weapons are single use. It says it plain as day in the REQ system blog.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze packs are bought with REQ points. This is the currency you earn from points in game. They can also be bought with real life money.
Premium, Supply, and Promo packs are earned outside of the game. Premium bundle DLC packs are like the Warzone REQ pack that comes with the higher edition of the game. Supply packs come from retail items, McFarlane toys, Doritos (If that promo actually launches outside of Mexico), and other things you buy independently from the game. Promotional packs will be from Halo sponsored promotions, waypoint rewards, and so on. Assumedly, the free REQ we get from using the waypoint app will be a promo pack.

Thanks, I am really relieved that some REQ packs can be bought with REQ points.

Even then, only cosmetics can be used in normal multiplayer. Only in Warzone can game changing ones be used.
Don’t forget you’ll get bronze, silver and gold REQ packs by leveling up and that you’ll also get some for commendations.
Oh and you can discard unwanted cards for REQ points with which you can buy other REQ packs. ( of course at a loss to prevent an infinite loop)
Concerning the “single use” requ packs, are these a one time use per match; or are they single use for the game? For example: will we have to acquire another single use requ card to use a Wrath in multiple Warzone matches; or will we have the Wrath permanently unlocked, but it is limited to a single use per match?
