I am posting to help people understand why the Requisition packs are primarily filled with Warzone equipment. And I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way. I/we understand that Warzone is fun, for some people, there is a ton off cool stuff, fancy guns, AI, vehicles, huge maps, ect…So, what does that do for the Arena players ? Are they phasing Arena -FFA, Slayer out in H5 ? And, if I am correct, we (arena players) got Arena Breakout and one new map in the Dec Update -Overgrowth. Its starting to feel like they are phasing out Arena altogether. Am I the minority ?
I wish 343 would just add Cosmetics packs to the game that don’t give us anything for Warzone. I sell everything I get since I don’t even play Warzone anyway

They need to give us more maps
Just sell the stuff back if you don’t want to play warzone. You get a decent portion of your RP back, and they can’t separate cosmetics from warzone packs, because that would alienate the warzone players who also want to unlock stuff. No, arena is not getting phased out. Warzone was their equivalent of firefight, which never tried to eliminate Arena in any Halo game.

They need to give us something. More maps would be a good start. Also, opening the req packs is excruciating. Yesterday I opened 3 packs and ended up with 2 boosts…that was all I could use for arena. Then have to go in and sell each item individually.
We should have REQ PACKS FOR ARENA!

Im the same bro. Never really play warzone (unless I’m with 8 or more people).
This is why I got 5 HCS packs when they came around, as all permanent Arena unlocks.

They could make it where you still unlock armors and stuff in the Warzone packs, but the Cosmetics packs don’t give you things like (Insert any weapon here) Certification
Its disappointing to open Req packs and see all the cool gear they have.

I do sell the stuff. This takes time. By your logic (Warzone player) you would gladly keep it how it is ? …just LOL. What I am saying is that its a Catch 22, with the current method they are alienating Arena players. Socialist much ?
My biggest issue is with how slowly Arena gives you reqs vs Warzone. For how much more competitive and challenging the games are comparatively the rewards are crap.

The fact that Arena got completely shafted by this “map pack” has me pretty pissed off. 2 BTB maps (Frostbite is awful btw), a Warzone map and 1 extremely AWFUL Arena map in Overgrowth that is so bad I wish it was never made at all.
Where is the Guardian, Lockout, Sanctuary, Narrows, Pit, etc? You know, maps people actually enjoy playing? Right now we basically have Coliseum (which is awesome I’ll give them that much) and the mediocre Empire and Fathom. The rest aren’t worth mention.
