REQ Pack Tips from a Collector

SO as I am here on the forums I see so many post of people complaining about how “Gold Packs SUCK” cause they get uncommon and only rares from them for the price of 10k. The fact is that you guys just don’t read the dang things or think on how the system works and how to use it. I collected my entire childhood and made a decent profit off of it while I was in my teens knowing how card packs worked and how to abuse the system. We have here 3 types of packs (Bronze (1250) , Silver (5000), and Gold (10000).
Most of you are thinking right off the bat that buying straight Gold is the way to go and rush in, but Gold packs only have a Large amount of Uncommon to Legendary REQs with 2 perm unlocks and those can vary by rarity. There are a large amount more uncommon and rare than there are legendary, so your chances to get a Rare or Legendary starting out are SLIM.

Now lets looks at the Silver Packs! These packs hold Common, Uncommon, and Rare with 2 perm unlocks for the price of 5k which is half of a Gold. Starting out in the game this is the best bang for your buck assuring that you will have 2 perm unlocks ranging anything below a legendary! Now the Bronze packs contain common reqs with a “chance” of a perm unlock for 1250. So for far less you leave it up to luck on getting a perm unlock.

My ideal is to buy 2 silver and 4 bronze and repeat. This way I am assured to get 4 perm unlocks and chances for others with some basic reqs to help me out in the game for only 15000 points. (The price for a Gold and a Silver 4 perm unlocks)
As you close the gap in what you have unlocked in the low tier you raise your chance of unlocking the Legendary stuff in the Gold packs.

The idea behind this system is to play smart buying the best deal for your unlocks and stocking what you need for the games.

This helped a lot, thank you for your post.

I have a simpler method. Keep on buying and only buying bronze until all of your commons/uncommons are out of the way

Now you buy silver packs until all of the rares are out of the way

So now when you purchase gold packs, you’re guaranteed nothing but legendary and higher quality. I, myself, are still tackling the silver packs

Not a bad system.

I was forced to stop playing the game soon after launch due to RL issues but now that I can, I was hesitant about where to spend my creds once I start earning em again.
I’ll give this a go!

Jran thank you for this. I am at ultra rare level collecting. But my friend is at common. I’ve been trying to explain to him how and I think youve nailed it pal.
