No matter how much I play and open up Gold Req packs 343i refuses to give me the ODST helmet, but even worse they refuse to give me a new visor color ;-; it is very frustrating to say the least
Anyone else having as bad of luck as me or am I alone here?
I’ve gotten one Visor so far, all you can do is keep playing Warzone (where you get the most req points) and pray to RNGesus.
And armor piece be with you RNGesus!
I keep getting crapped on from the gold req packs… I’ve gotten 3 armor pieces and 1 helmet out of 25 gold packs. Never got visors or skins either. The rest I just get uncommon weapons, vehicles, stances, and emblems.
The req machine wouldn’t let me access my covenant carbine in war zone.
Do I have to unlock something?
If I get crap from req pack I wear The full Seeker armor just cause y not
I understand, I hate getting miffed on gold packs.
On the flip side, is there nothing that you got in a req pack that absolutely no one else has?
Was fortunate enough to already get my #2 favorite armor set. Finally unlocked the sniper rifle today too!
I got my favorite helmet so far, but I would really prefer banshee certification haha and yeah gold packs aren’t so great at the moment
It is one of the rarest helmets. If you open silver packs first until you have unlocked most of the common to rare req permanent req cards. Than the gold packs. It will save you req points.

This method is the best way!
yeah, ive been getting a good amount of crap with my packs, but ive decided im going to do the bronze to silver to gold thing as well.

I would open up silver packs first and then start grabbing gold packs, I have 6 visors, 5 stances, 45 head and chest pieces along with about half of the weapons and vehicles from just silver packs.

I agree with this. At first I opened all gold pack, yet I got discouraged after not getting any legendaries or mythic REQs. So I focused my attention on opening Bronze REQ packs. The theory behind this is that once I get all of my common permanent unlocks I’ll have a better chance at getting all uncommon and rare unlocks from Silver REQ packs. So far, it has worked for me, and I’m about to move on to Gold packs for all the other things for my collection.

ok, changed my mind. going silver and not bronze. like others, thanks for the heads up and tips.
same here i had many troubles with the req packs hoping to have it improve in time
