Exactly, I finished my silvers a week ago, and the gold grind is steep, it would help a lot and make a better incentive to play.
Honestly that’d be great. I would really like Silvers for 2500. I’d be all over Halo right now were that the case. I’m not too far from finishing Silvers as it is!
Be nice but doubt it since its just virtual currency vs real world currency. More people are likely to buy the packs at a discounted of using points.
I don’t see why a marketplace discount should be accompanied by an in-game currency discount, but I’d love them to do it as I still need about 40 silvers and then have the massive gold grind to go!
Since I have everything unlocked I already get refunded 6000rp for each Gold pack and can practically buy 1 or 2 after every warzone match… Having them discounted would mean i could just open packs all day without even playing matches and stock up on godly reqs… As much as i would love that, it doesnt seem too fair. lol

Agreed; I wrote something to that affect on another post. It’s lame that the point cost isn’t discounted.
If I needed to get some packs, I would jump on the reduced cost. Once you have everything, you get gold packs for 4k points, and silver for 2k points a substantial RP discount. I recommend you think about this logically, 100k req points are worth X amount of time. In X amount of time one earns Y dollars. Is it cheaper to buy than to grind for points? How much is your time worth?
Golds should go for 7500 Rp, & Silvers for 4k

This is the reason packs have not been discounted. Unless it temporarily took away the aspect of giving players back Req points, it wouldn’t work as players could receive back more points than they were spending and just stock up on all Req cards.

I’m sure that would easily be offset by all the Halo YouTubers who scoop up the multi-packs of Gold for their videoes. Given that 343 and MS were able to make $500,000 in one month after Halo 5 launched with REQs, they can throw the people who don’t buy the optionally available for purchase packs a bone. That’s the thing I keep finding funny, buying them is optional, but purchasing packs normally, through special packs highlighting new content, bundles, and now with discounts is so incentivized while everyone else is relegated to the grind.
Just the nature of microtransactions in action. Inconvenience the grinder, incentivize the buyer.

No it shouldn’t because if req packs are cheaper for those who finish gold they will be able to keep buying gold packs as they keep getting refunded 6k. Eventually they could profit and have net gains.
Its honestly not that much the req points for each pack, the req system greatly improved when emblems were removed as part of the 2 guaranteed unlocks.
There is no need for a reduction for the price of req points in req points ever. Doing so would be bad business for the game and would make it unfair for those who spent money on the sale.
