Holds 30 munitions.

The PEP has an always-active, about 40m range, Hydra-like locking system combined with a slow recharging, small radius exploding super-combine capable, 3-shot reserve energy projector that has 2 forms of firing. Landing 3 shots causes a Dark Star super-combine, as well as a kill. More for damaging OS players and vehicles (and looking kool).
The targeting reticule is about 2/3’s the size of a Hydra’s, and lock-ons last about twice as long. If one wants to change target manually.
Recharges a shot at a steady pace, regardless if out or not, ie, “backpack reloads”

When not using the SL function, the PEP drops auto-seeking, Splinter grenade-type “missiles”. They have a timer before auto-exploding with friendly-fire capable damage (but a surprisingly long timer to allow 6 to be on the field for a few moments at least).
Players can drop these like a makeshift Halo4 Sentry, for a short-time, or drop them as they SPRINT! Yes, you can drop these as you sprint.
Mine-explosives pulse a light that shows off their seeking distance, and each hit by a munition increases the range at which a second can be hit.
On a small map or open area, 2 hits can allow many dropped munitions to suddenly swarm a player/vehicle.
Can be avoided with objects, thruster at the right time, exploded or precision shot.

Smart Link function, the PEP fires those mines in a Grunt Jockey & ONI Gungoose-like function at their target.
Shots are at first, perfectly true with the reticle’s centre. There is a set distance/time and 1 ricochet before they suddenly strike directly for their intended target. Where one would bend a Hydra-shot, players work with hard angles.
This allows players to maintain maximum mobility for indirect shots. If dropping a mine or two and a target is tagged, that is when the PEP user can drop out of sprint with a slide, bounce a shot or 2 off a wall just before entering a portal with a thrust, back into sprint, while their target gets super-combined.

A high damaging Dying Star-like explosion in 1 shot. Best if it looked like a smaller Warden shot but with a much faster projectile speed.
Insta-skill on regular infantry, near death with OS users, near destruction on light/scout vehicles.
Holds 10 shots.
RoF, about 1 every 3-4 seconds.
Mines last 12 seconds with a 50% greater detection field.
