REQ Gold purchased, Got error then gone

Hi,

Yesterday I bought a Gold Pack. And yet again, an error message popped saying that my pack was purchased but the game was not able to open it right now and saying that I should try later.

Anyway, I fall back to the first menu to select Arena (I was in Warzone lobby), and what a surprise, my pack disappeared AGAIN.

I use “again” a lot because it’s like the fifth time it happens to me, with all the other bugs Im still running through (like randomly no music at the beginning of a game, console randomly crashing, item from pack that cannot be sold and then cannot be found in collection menu, etc.)

I’m posting a topic in case a miracle could happen, you helped me to obtain my Warzone Premium packs last time even if I was not hoping much so… why not.

Oh, and I recorded the bug on my DVR in case you need it.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Bye,
ProSperity

It just happend again with the first warzone win pack. But this time it said that I already opened it. But I didnt. Again recorded.

I had the same problem, I bought one, the money came out, and then it just disappeared.

Hey folks. It’s likely the pack has already opened and the game skipped the opening animation of it, it happens sometimes. Your items from the pack automatically get dropped into your REQ inventory. You can hard reset your console or check your inventory here on Waypoint

Thanks for your message, what bothers me is that I have no idea of what has been unlocked in my REQ inventory. Like nothing seems to be new. Feel sad.

When you say “hard reset your console”, what do you think it would do for my problems?

Again, thank you for your time.

Hard resetting your console clears out any local caches that are held in memory. For the like of Halo 5 it helps to regenerate the cache and pull down fresh data so your new items will show. Something I would like to see, which has been asked for a bit more recently, is the ability to see your REQ history or at least maybe the last pack you opened. I think that would be useful to a lot of people that don’t actively track their inventory

You’re absolutely right.

However for the hard reset, I see your point, but perhaps cleaning local storage by “managing the game” option is less-drastic and just as efficient? If so, I do that quite frequently as it’s one of the most efficient solution to my console’s random crashes.

Thanks

It could be yeah, I just go by what the Forum Team and other have recommended in the past. If that works for you then it’s another suggestion I can ad to my list when replying

Great =)

In this particular topic (REQ pack opening bug) it won’t help I guess but as you mentioned, my Pack could be opened even if I didn’t see anything new (and I look a lot because I’m waiting for some cards).

Yeah, this has happened to me 2. I dont know what to do.
