I purchased a Gold pack & got a glitch saying that the REQ has been purchased but not opened & when I went to open it it said it has already been opened. I looked everywhere for any permanent unlocks (armors, helmets, skins, emblems, loudouts, & certifications but found nothing. It upsets me every time this happens rather I pay with money or pay with points that I put my time into to getting REQs.
This happened to me before but I used 10000 req points. The transaction took my points but did not transfer the gold pack. i have sent a complaint in this forum about 4 months ago but no-one from 343i has acknowledged this issue yet. lucky for me it was not my real money.
it’s like going to the grocery store to buy something, the cashier take your money but kept your groceries; you then ask to speak to a manager about this issue and no single manager responds to the complaint, you are cheated and left in frustration.
sadly, the only solution to this is not to trust that type of transaction with real currency every again. “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!”
Why do people buy req packs anyway? aren’t you supporting a fundamental change to halo that promotes users to pay for cosmetics that were previously rewarded in past halos by simply earning in game? Playing to earn in halo 5 just doesn’t feel rewarding enough for me, I guess in your case "paying" to earn doesn’t either.
Hey folks, when an issue like this happens you so still get your items, it just skips the opening animation of the pack. You can do a hard reset of your console it check your REQ inventory here on Waypoint for your new items
On rare occasions, a REQ Pack will open without displaying the full animation. If this happens, the items will still be placed directly into your inventory. If the items are not immediately visible in your inventory, please perform a hard reset on your Xbox One and the items should be there. Additionally, if you’d like to check from your computer, the items should be in your inventory here on Halo Waypoint as well. We apologize for the inconvenience!
