Hey everyone, after playing Halo 5 for a while and using the REQ system I am alright with it, while the whole micro payments and such is for a different discussion I really do enjoy unlocking some powerful weapons for use in Warzone. With that said some of my favorite weapons or vehicles to use are in short supply and I always feel I never earn enough back through the silver/gold packs, so I have been wondering about future things 343 can do to make it easier to get the items you want, such as trading with fireteam members, buying them with RP, or a gambling system.
In a few different games I have been playing recently, Fire Emblem Fates as a example, there is a option to gamble some of your resources on arena fights and was wondering what others would think of a system like it. Putting something like say a Oni Warthog REQ card on the line for a match win, win and receive double what you gambled. Adding something like this could be a fun way to increase your favorite REQ card supply outside of spending your RP for random items you might never use, sure you might lose the card you want, but I feel a lot of players, including myself, are willing to take the chance.
Anyone else have some ideas on the subject? I would like to hear some

This sounds pretty cool. But 343 would need to update the main home screen, as well as the req system. It’s incredibly laggy and just horribly done.
Sonds like an incubator for Gamblers Anonymous. I’m picturing some eight year old kid slumped against a wall and panhandling for reqs because he gambled his own away. Okay, that’s an exaggeration. But these forums filled with the same kids launching into rants about how they were cheated, or victimized, or whatever… that’s something I can easily picture and want no part of.
