So I wanna know why theres only complaining and negative feedback against accounts and no positive re-enforcements? My account was fine until grifball playlist and weird everyone complains when I go 60 and 10 on them or we betray eachother by accidents…Ofcourse once u get a bad rep then you cant find matches anymore…I think they need to fix this reputation system they have and add positives to it instead of negatives all the time!!! Anyone can file complaints just for the hell of it on you if they want and theres nothing you can do!! This happens to so many players in halo its not funny…
I personally think Xbox needs to scrap it as a whole. I can understand a game doing it, example being, match cheaters with cheaters, match quitters with quitters, ect ect. In all honesty though I think any rep system can be exploited. People get their -Yoinks!- handed to them, “that guys a -Yoinking!- cheater! Reported!!” It just can’t be avoid far as I know. Not many people will openly admit they got outplayed.

Doesn’t going without complaints count as “positive feedback”? I thought that’s how that worked…
While I somewhat agree with this…I have to think that there would be a chunk of the population that would find a way to abuse that, and allow themselves to offset bad actions by boosting “good feedback”.
Some ppl might take it as if I file a neg feedback I won’t get matched with that person again, or company for that matter.
It’s weird because on 360 you were able to send positive feedback on players’ profiles, but now on the one you can’t do it anymore.

well the negative abusing has players like me sitting on the sidelines with this account with an avoid me on it and cant play halo without making a new accounts!! How many ppl do you have to “abuse” in order to get a “needs work”? Does it matter how many game you have played in relation to the neg feedback? Do you have to play more games w/o neg feedback to offset “needs works”? Does this only pertain to H5 or can you play MCC or COD w/o that rep?

I think you just explained why your low rep isn’t the problem. The XBL rep system IS across all games, its not tied to Halo. The reason you can’t find games is because the Halo 5 servers are awful. It doesn’t look like rep is your problem.
Maybe you need to change the way you play, you’re obviously a really good player but it doesn’t look like you play for the objective? In grifball you’ve got 2.0 kd and like 70 matches but only 20 goals? Maybe if you’re just farming kills or spawn trapping( just a possibility , don’t actually know how you play) then you’ll get bad rep because you’re not fun to play with.
I assumed the rep recovered over time but maybe if you’re consistently reported it doesn’t? Might need a tweak but just try not to get reported haha.

So whys is a game counting on the community to give back negative feedback or hnd out punishments when we know most people arnt honest enough to do it properly? Its not hard to mute people or stop cheating etc…But to give players rep that stops them from playing is bs

Yeah could be the servers. Who knows all the criteria that goes into it and how to get out of it.

I know how it works, I never expressed confusion with the system.
What I’m saying is that you don’t know if that’s the problem. It sounds like the problem is with the HALO 5 SERVERS. A lot of people haven’t been able to get into games over the last few days, just like you.

Could be that too, ive just been told about the rep system from xbox and how it works. I do think it needs fixed and positive re-enforcement added or the capability too add it…
