Repulsor Range, Good or bad?

The repulsor is really good for knocking enemies off the map, knocking enemies away, jumping higher, Etc.
but I feel like the one thing it was mainly made for, Repulsing rockets, doesn’t even work like 90% of the time. I mean, you can still move someone back who is ten ft away from you but you only repulse a rocket that is two FT away from you like 10% of the time?!?! How!?!? 343i, fix this at once! I am making a poll to get our voices heard! (not like a monitor is gonna read this anyway , but still, we can hope):

  • Like Repulsors where they are against rockets
  • Make Range longer against rockets
  • make range shorter overall

I personally think repulsors need a longer range against rockets bc I am trying to repulse rockets less than 5 feet away from my spartan and I am still dying. Insanity! Absolute INSANITY. Oh, if a monitor reads this can they say something on the thread to make it known that they do try and read everything? Thanks!

343’s central theme is “Try” because trying to do something doesnt have any parameters other than those designated by the one trying to do that very thing.

For example, one time I tried to walk off a broken clavicle but ultimately accomplished nothing but prolonging the pain.

Definately increase range against rockets. I played skockets and it worked like 1/10 times to repel rockets. Or I could just suck at it which I certainly a possibility. Works great on grenades though

I think the range is fine, I have absolutely no issues reflecting rockets back at people in game modes like Skrockets.

The only thing about the Repulsor that I don’t like is that you can launch all the power seeds at once a good distance away. It makes it easy to quickly push all of the seeds into your sides territory.

I don’t think the range of the Repulsor is the problem here, it sounds more like a lag or desync issue getting in the way.

I feel like repulsing a rocket is supposed to be really hard and not something you can do regularly. One of those last ditch or straight up lucky plays that makes you laugh when it happens precisely because it was very unlikely to end well.

No issues with it, although i wish it was a bit more useful.
