Man. Thats sounding pretty damn good. I’m excited to see the kinda stuff you’ll be able to pull off with it. This may confirm it as a crazy physics based weapon. Oof.

Same dude! Its sounding pretty hype. Here’s hoping it ain’t too op lmao.

Lmfao, if that was reality it would be absolutely mental for sure. It would make sense for it to deflect sniper bullets. But it would take time and skill in order to do so, at least judging from the multiplayer trailer lol

I would start crying if I were ever able to consistently hit no-scopes. My best skill with the sniper is mostly limited to ensuring that there is no ammo left when the enemy picks it up off my dead body. RIP

As long as it doesn’t turn into the Halo Reach armor lock. So many ghosts obliterated in BTB from armor lock trolls.

Lmao yup, I was thinking it was gonna be the weaker successor to armor lock and far less destructive but we’ll see
That got me excited too. Armor lock was always an annoying ability in reach, but I liked the aspect of interrupting vehicles as a spartan. I hope this is their way of re-implementing that somehow with the repulsor.
Also considering the weekly quest “push a Spartan off the map with the repulsor” it seems there is like some off a gravity hammer like mechanic without the damage aspect concerned. They already had me hooked with the grapple (pun intended), but hearing more about the repulsor really has me looking forward to equipment shenanigans.
One thing though; really hope there are no invulnerability frames concerned in the way that you can just use if as a shield and things just bounce off of you. Mechanically I hope it’s like a burst that you need to time really well to work.

In the multiplayer trailer it seems that you have to actually time its use before its effective, we’ll most likely see it in action with the btb livestream thats coming soon. I have so many questions about it lol
Really excited for this. Hopefully this means we get more physics in the next flight. 1st flight was an earlier build and it was a little disappointing with the physics, no grenade jumping, player collision, push back with grav hammer, etc. So hopefully this will be a newer build that will have more physics especially now hearing how the repulser works.

Same. I always liked the concept of armour lock and what bungie intended the ability to counter vehicles. Goes to show in theory yes in practice no. Think we should have strong vehicles, i felt like the vehicles in halo 4 and 5 they felt very weak. I know every time i got into a mantis i would get beamed by bullets…just bullets and would blow up. Im really happy that equipment is back and we can have somthing to counter vehicles.

From what I understand it repulses everything, and if you recall from the multiplayer reveal a spartan using it to boost himself upwards with it.
sooooo, yes. Vehicles. Awesome. I cant wait to see what wacky stuff happens in customs with that
