I encountered a repeated teamkiller who was standing at spawn betraying people. But I cannot see any option to report them. What do I do?
Hey Colt, sorry for the late reply on this. The best way at the moment to report users, is to file a player report on the Halo Support site: https://aka.ms/HaloSupport
Better ways to report users is something that 343 are working on

Not any more it isn’t, as a means to report players in-game has completely dropped off their development roadmap for Halo: Master Chief Collection on PC after having been listed on it previously. The fact that there isn’t any way to report players in-game is abysmal, especially when the only other means of being able to report players (Xbox App) only allows you to report a player for:
- Their actual gametag itself being offensive.
- Their player picture.
- Voice Communication.
- Bio or Location.
This means there is no in-game (nor in-Xbox App) means to report players for griefing, unsporting behaviour, nor in-game text communication. Not to mention outright cheating.
There is no in-game link to the “Halo Support” site whatsoever.
It is almost as if the means to report other players is being deliberately obfuscated in order to discourage the reporting of toxic players and cheaters.
In game reporting was bundled in with the work on file share and the Custom Games Browser. It’s not something that has been forgotten and certainly not discouraged.
There has been no indication of that whatsoever, “in-game reporting” disappeared entirely from the roadmap list without explanation.
Right now, outside of what you mentioned above, there is no current public-facing statement that in-game reporting is still on the development roadmap at all, to the point where I honestly won’t believe you unless I hear the same from one of the title’s developers.

I just clicked on the link you posted, going to the Halo Support site. There is no obvious link to even report a player from the front page.
Here is an actual link to be able to do so:
Link removed by moderator
Basic reporting functionality is clearly obfuscated, which in turn discourages users from submitting tickets, tacitly or not.
The reason that the ticket page sites behind the initial article is to make sure that players read information about filing tickets before they do so, this is to help reduce the amount of inaccurate or nonsense reports sent through to the team.
You can use this link and then select player report when filing a new ticket:
https://support.halowaypoint.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036218972-How-to-Submit-a-Halo-Support-Ticket
I find it odd that you have removed the link citing that people need to read an entire page before submitting a ticket when no such requirement is made of players reporting others via the integrated report feature on Xbox (nor the Xbox App on PC).
In addition, there is literally nothing on the page you linked to specifically about reporting other players, the information is about submitting tickets about known issues.
The only relevant part is the following:
"Fill out the form. Include as much information as possible to help us understand your issue.
- If you have multiple unrelated issues, submit them as separate tickets. - *Do not submit multiple tickets for the same issue."*This text could easily be included at the top of the actual page for submitting support tickets.
Can we have a developer response please on whether in-game reporting for poor user behaviour is actually still on the MCC PC development roadmap?
Player reporting was bundled into the work being done with the Custom Games Browser and File Share, it’s sill being worked on.
Closing this off now as it’s no longer a support issue. Feel free to use the pinned feedback thread in the MCC forums if you’d like to leave feedback about support tickets
