Does one really need to report the quitters, because the quit counts as DNF, so 343 knows that the player did not finish.
How does one report quitters?
Does it need to be right after the game?
i report quitters or betrayers almost immediately. its frustration at its finest when someone quits out. but redemption when you log into your xbox the next day and you get the message that they have taken action against one or more of the people you reported. ahhh sweet redemption…i hope that person wanted to play halo so badly just to be banned for a couple hours or something…even minutes make me smile!

I don’t know someone quit until the end of the game, that is when the stats come out. Is there an option at that point to report?
With halo 5 at its current state, I honestly don’t blame them for quitting. But really though I don’t report. It’s mainly because the disconnects are taken accounted for by the game itself, so they’ll face the consequences either way. So I don’t really know.
theres a little message that says “player left”. then hold select and view gamer card. report
I do at the end of every game. That way they end up red and have no o e to play with
I report based on context. If someone rages quits causing me to lose, I report that player. If it is a close game and the player drops out due to a connection error I don’t report them. If you are glitching out of the map. I report and send a video to the xbox live team to show you using exploits.

You should be careful, especially with the servers acting up. I’ve been booted from a number of games today…all connection related.

And this is why I hate playing with guys like you. My crappy connection combined with my family downloading all the time makes my games hit and miss… Love knowing there are -Yoinks!- like you out there to make this game even harder.
I report quitters when playing team games. But all I play now is FFA so I don’t care if they quit.
