I started reporting people that quit matches on Halo 5. Will this allow me to avoid these players in the future? If not, how could I avoid these players forever? I would like avoid these players at all cost. How about blocking them on Xbox live?

Anyone?
I do both, I first report them for quitting early and then I personally block them. You shouldn’t get match made with players you block, but its possible. They won’t be able to send you messages or anything.
I Agree 100%…
would love to have to never be matched with people who i have had quit a perfectly good game and or team kill
i was playing warzone and spawned a nornfang and had a team mate attempting to kill me for it! such crap and i had an opportunity to report him and did but he was in my next match and did it to another team mate with a dying star trying to steal his weapon.
there should be an option to avoid players like this or place them in a playlist with similar Team killers/ Rage quitters
I will try to do both too.
Yes, I agree. We should have an option to avoid these type of players.

yes but this wouldn’t stop them from being matched with you, would it?
i don’t want to have to deal with these people again or at least for a month then i can report them again if i have the problem again
What if they disconnected I sure hope you didn’t report anyone today, servers and Xbl have been yoink.
What else could I do?
No, not today. No reports done.

you can kinda tell when they just disconnected from servers, and if you have had a similar problem that day.
but if your loosing 100 to 650 in warzone or 35 to 10 in slayer then it can be pretty obvious
I would love it if quitters only got match made against each other, that would be hilarious. There would be servers where games only last two minutes before everyone quit. Why people bother playing if they only intend to quit is beyond me, they deserve the bans they earn.
I wouldn’t report anybody unless you notice a pattern in their quitting behavior. Pretty hard to do since you very rarely get matched with the same people. At least I don’t pay that close attention. I suppose looking at someone’s service record on here would give you a better idea if there were habitual quitters. I quit a few games in a row yesterday because the system kept telling me that my friend and I were in the match together, but then when the game started one of us wasn’t there. Something a hard reset seemed to fix.
yes 100% that would be funny to watch quitters and team killers to play with eachother only
I’m not going to research every single person that leaves a game early before reporting them, that’s entirely too much effort to be wasted on bad teammates. One done is good enough for me, Xbox Live can sort them out.
It’s been my personal policy to report players for quitting early (been doing this since Reach). Not sure if it does anything to prevent me from playing with them or if there’s some kind of consequences for them because of it, but it’s my way of taking action against quitters.
Be careful, you don’t want to report people unless your absolutely sure that they are foulsports.
Wow man. Maybe you should wait more than one minute before double, triple, and quadruple posting.
Idk if the block system works. But i know on MCC it didnt work at all because id block someone and re-match them the very next game… Talk about broken.
