So im putting it here. The harpoon enemy spartan in pvp 5 times is glitched. I harpooned over 8 times and it counted only 3, despite it showing up on my screen as 8 seperate harpoons.
Also, hackers suck. Reporting them is even worse to the point where im cool with them in game now.
Honestly I haven’t figured out how to lead the skewer properly. It seems inconsistent, but it’s really just how the weapon works, practice makes perfect. Shots that seem like they’ll land aren’t even close, but its simply user error most of the time, with a little lag/desync thrown in for good measure.
Something I did figure out though, the aim is calibrated at the very top of the crosshairs for close-mid range, not the middle open spot. Hopefully that helps with shot placement a bit.
Yeah the support tickets take a while to get through.
I will say that even though it took a month to get my ticket resolved, it was done so with a confirmation that the player in question was most likely hacking.
In game reporting is needed, but the system does work albeit slowly.
For the skewer, some people have it down, others do not. I am one who does not.
My most annoying weapon is the Mangler though. I love it and hate it. I can precise hit someone twice, but anything after that, even if i aim with the trigger, misses no matter what.
