If anyone could tell me the proper protocol for this? I played a FF game with a guy who:
Blew up all available vehicles.
Killed all friendlies.
Contributed only enough so that he wouldn’t get kicked.
Finally quit mid-match.
I didn’t mind (because there’s no point in getting upset, that’s what they want), but I’d rather this sort of behavior not be encouraged. So if anyone could help out, it would be appreciated.
Hah. I used to see AFKers in every match, all day long. Some matches I even ran into 2 and 3 people that idled, hid, or jumped in place the whole time. Yet, Bungie/343 refused to fix the credit payout to properly deter idling, refused to patch those hiding places, and refused to give us an option to report people. They don’t care about policing the game in any way, but if you quit too many games because of these idiots, YOU get banned for 10 minutes. How bloody fair is that? After 7 years, you can’t avoid running into the same idiot multiple times because submitting a player review is still worthless! No wonder people like PS3 better.
The best answer I have for you is if they’re boosting, you can file a complaint for “cheating”, in the tampering section of the report. If they are griefing, then you can avoid them for “unsportsmanlike conduct” under the game behavior section of submitting a player review. There should be a better way to do this TBH, but unfortunately, there isn’t.
