Recently I played in a matchmaking game where an individual was, I assume, running a cheat. At the time I was simply baffled at how he was managing to score so highly, especially considering the gametype we were playing; it was just unnatural for him to be so far ahead of us all. The really interesting thing was that after playing with this person, I too then had this cheat enabled until I disabled it by going to dashboard – and I did this as soon as I confirmed what was happening for the simple fact that I’m not a cheater.
Confined to the one gametype this cheat really wouldn’t do much harm, but it has a gamebreaking effect in general matchmaking that cannot be overlooked regardless if Halo 4 is right around the corner or not. Sadly, after being exposed to it, I started to notice that a LOT of people in matchmaking are abusing it either intentionally or unintentionally.
So, rather than just posting it in detail and potentially destroying matchmaking altogether by giving it more exposure than it has to have, I’d like to know to whom I direct a critical cheat/bug. Certainly not an open forum. 343 seemingly has no “support” on this site to which I could direct it to, so I’d appreciate help in leading this through the proper channel. Anyone know?
If by evidence you mean the gameplay save file showing it active on myself and others, then yes. However I’m not trying to call out an individual and have them banned, the concern is that the cheat/bug is openly being abused in matchmaking and needs to be patched asap.
Who do we go to when reporting a cheat/bug? I ask because I cannot find anything of the sort on this site.
Care to elaborate more on this “cheat/bug” and what exactly you mean by it? Your post is rather vague and has virtually no information that we can base our responses off of.

Can you please explain it in better detail. Im a little lost. We can probably help ya out. Just state, the cheat/bug (whatever you cal it), when you saw it, what time, what playlist, and the players you were with (in a PM).
