I went to play some Halo 3 recently, and I had a blast. Unfortunately, such a low population made it hard to find consistent matches. Therefore, anyone else who isn’t satisfied with Game 4 should play Halo 3. If we get enough people to play, we actually might get old Halo back even if it’s only for a little while. Post or vote of you are going to play some old school Halo!

I find it so funny. 343 know the multiplayer is trash, they just wont admit it.
funny i just was playing halo 3 2 minutes ago. it is so much better.
Halo 3 is a game I cant bring myself to play just because of how inaccurate the BR is. If the precision weapons didnt have that issue than I would be playing it right now but unfortunetly they do so I wont.

Even if that were the case, which it’s not I would still appreciate a 1% boost. The fact that Game 4 started with 400k+ and now only has 90k+ means that about 300k are dissatisfied with the game.
I would rather repopulate Halo 2.
If Reach and 4 hadn’t been made maybe the population wouldn’t have dropped so much in the first place!
It would be really great if Halo 3 population could jump up, cause H3 was the best halo in my book. Reach just made the halo population drop. Halo 4 doesn’t feel like halo anymore 
I love halo 3 but the online multiplayer experience is just not for me. It feels like hit registration is at an all time worse. I remember in 2008-2009 I could pull off a 4shot with the br in TS 50-60% of the time. Now i’m lucky if i get a 5shot when hes running in a straight line.
but custom games are okay because they generally lag alot less

So youre saying halo 4 is doomed.
The truth is, halo 4 should have given us the ability to recreate the original halo expirience the way reach (kinda) did. But they didnt. There are hardly any options to do this, so the only way to get that classic expirience back is to play the classic games. Microsoft already shut down halo 2’s mm, and since I dont have halo for pc its up to halo 3 for me.

That and Halo 3. It’s daft to think you can get people to play a game just because you want them to. You have to accept the fact that the game is outdated and no longer popular. I’m a Halo 3 veteran and am sad to see it but I’ve accepted that.
The game will die eventually. Probably when the next Xbox comes out.
I will definitely go and play it if there was more people in the playlists I like. After I’m done with my Halo (H3) Easy speedrun.
Edit: You guys made me want to go back early. I need BR practice anyway. The battle on the top of the control room tower is really tough to do perfectly.
