Are any of you frustrated and or bored with Halo 4? I am. So let’s go back and play some Halo 3. I’ve recently gone back and I’ve been having a great time. My only problem is is that it’s very hard to find matches in playlists other than Social Slayer, Team Slayer, and Lone Wolves. So why not join me and get the population over 10k?
Call me insane, but I play games like Big Team Battle and feel like there’s lag or something throwing my BR off. It’s why I don’t play Halo 3.
Not sure if it’s just because I haven’t played Halo 3 and it just feels jarring, or if I’m just going crazy. I’d gladly go back and play some Halo 3, though. I still got the Mythic disc from ODST.

it’a not just you. halo 3 has always had lag/latency issues.
Ive seen about 3 repopulate Halo 3 threads today.

^^This, and it picked up even more the summer before Reach came out after an “update”.

It tries to deceive you. It just occasionally says there are 0 people playing, but there’s at least a couple hundred.

Could be lag or it could be the spread on the BR. But I think it’s most likely that it’s its range because you said you play BTB.

What this guy said. I found a game playing BTB the other day while the population counter said that it had 0 people in it.

I loved Halo 3 in its prime when there was the possibility of frequent good connections when playing with friends but I refuse to go back to guesstimating where my shots should be on international host which is the norm nowadays.
The last couple of times I’ve played Halo 3 the connections were so bad even enemies running in a straight line at me were eating and getting massive lunges with noticeable delay on grenades and rockets to the point of them being useless in some matches.
For anyone in the southern hemisphere Halo 3 is well and truly dead due to the fact that you don’t get good connections often if at all and factoring in Halo 3’s awful netcode it quickly becomes an exercise in frustration.
The matchmaking needs consolidation with at least half of the playlists removed because of the low average population.
I played Halo 3 all day on Sunday and had more fun than I’ve ever had playing Halo 4. It’s definitely worth a shot!
I played Halo 3 for about 2 weeks start of this month, and thought the population was going to grow but it has not.
I have returned to Halo 4.
Was fun playing the old maps, had to get use to controls and no sprint.

I wanted to play BTB, but one day there were only 32 people playing BTB.
The pop seems to be around the 100 mark.
Social Slayer seems to have always over 2,000 and you can get games really quick.
Do you all think that if enough of the population that left Halo 4 came back and populated Halo 3 to where the population was overwhelmingly greater that 343i might take notice and ask themselves why is Halo 3 more popular?
Then again, why isn’t it more popular right now already?
I honestly believe that if the hard core/MLG try hards really wanted to make a statement to 343i that is what they would have done.

EXACTLY! You here these guys everywhere on the forums talking about how bad Halo 4 is when they should just come Back to Halo 3. But they don’t and I don’t know why. LET’S START A REVOLUTION!!! WHO’S WITH ME?
