Needless to say alot of us don’t like the Halo Infinite coating system, I am no exception to this .With some not-so-deep searching you will find many articles and videos about this subject .I will offer and alternative system to the coating system that we saw in the flight .This is not a bash on the initial system but rather an alternative to it.
My system is still a monetization system, It still relies on having a person manually buy an ingame currency but instead of taking away the act of customization this system gives your customization back .Now enough beating around the bush, what is this magical system? The system is Buyable colors. You may be asking “isn’t that the same system”, and in some ways it is you still need to buy colors , but you can use the already bought colors freely as you wish. Imagine the same 6 color system in infinite but using the color change option is completely free with the trade off of having to buy the colors.Still don’t get it? let me explain, So lets say you bought the color red , since you own this color you can use it anywhere on the 6 point “wheel” .The specifics of this system is hard to pin down but i’d assume 343 would make it so you have to buy multiples of the same color if you wanted to use it on multiple areas of the “wheel”.Weapon skins will work in a similar way just with alot less options for the “wheel” .Well anyway not sure if this idea has been said before but i’d love to hear your thoughts on it ,and the coating system in general.
tl:dr: buying specific colors , and using them freely on a 6 point wheel as opposed to the coating system
