So like the topic says, it would be cool if they did that. Never did like the new BR look with the whole red dot thing, and I really miss the BR look. I do not real care for Warzone but in Arena playlists it would be a lot of fun to switch out the new BR for the old one. Maybe give players a choice to switch out the skin on their end, like if I wanted to use the old BR look but another player wanted to use the new look all we would have to do is go into settings and switch the weapon skin. Then I would see the BR look like the BR I know and if a new player likes the new skin they only see the new skin. That was one way of doing it, or maybe a more realistic way is to just swap out the new BR for the old BR.

Not really. Someone on YouTube did a comparison between the two, and showed that both BRs have an identical TTK.
No. The Halo 2 BR has a much faster TTK. It doesn’t make much sense that it’s in Arena. It’s just another random variable. It’s also easier to use. Should be kept in warzone only

Does not compute. Should be a skin/UI option as I prefer the H5 but have no quarrels with H2’s inclusion for must-havers to feel at home.
Having it in the game is more a nostalgia thing to begin with. No need to replace the new one. If there’s a classic gametype then sure. Or maybe for certain maps/remakes. But for the most part I don’t see much reason to swap out the existing BRs.

No thanks OP. It’s a nice addition to have but that’s it. If they make a gametype that is a classic game type then sure but for the current modes nothing needs changing weapons wise.
If you really feel that strong about it you could actually do this on every original halo 5 map in forge now that you can place it as a weapon. You would only be able to do custom games but you would have your wish…
I really like it, it makes me feal like I’m accuaily playing a halo game but I really doubt they will consider keeping it in matchmaking. I couldn’t agree more with these. Riptide feels like a great map, why?? because of the Halo 2 BR!!! The map might be terrible, I don’t know because I’m just so happy to use the H2BR that I don’t care. No more garbage scope is right!!! I hate the new zoom look so much on the BR. I don’t mind it on some weapons but the BR is terrible!! It feels CODish I’m sorry to say, it does. I just got flooded with so many emotions when using the H2BR, was a great feeling.
As I’ve said, if 343I insist on adding things in like sprint and clamber etc. then stop messing with the look of so many weapons and the zoom view. These are things you shouldn’t of been working on. The old ones looked great, and so did the zoom. You should be working on maps and game modes instead of changing things that didn’t need to be changed.

Also The sound of the old BR is just SO MUCH BETTER then the new BR and since it’s in the game, why can’t we change our zoom look from the new type to the old type?? I really think this should be an option.

ya it does shoot way faster lol. but the gameplay video showed the H2 BR in Riptide which i found odd. but than again prophets bane was in the beta than now its only warzone only. but its cool to see the spankr in riptide.

First off thats never ganna happen. Second theres no red dot on 343s br. Are yo blind? Second its in riptide enjoy it there. Or how about you get some freinds and play customs and you can spawn with it all you like.

the sight on top of the new BR is a red dot styled sight.
